Evelyn J. Mark, 82, of Orrville, died Saturday, December 23, 2006 at Aultman Hospital in Canton. ?
A graveside service will be held today at 1:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with the Rev. Randall L. Gehrig officiating. ?Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. ?Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com.
She was born July 10, 1924 in Akron to Ray and Hazel {Huguelet} Steiner. ?She married Fred J. Mark on December 4, 1965. ?He survives. ?
She worked for Goodyear Aircraft manufacturing Corsair Navy planes; later working for Saalfield Publishing and Amstutz Hatchery. ?
She was a member of the Christ United Church of Christ, where she sang in the choir, and the Orrville Garden Club. ?She enjoyed flowers, photography, and dancing. ?
Surviving in addition to her husband are children Evelyn Jeanne Richards of Alliance, Ray (Connie) Acomb of Oak Island, NC, Beverly Sanders of Akron; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a brother Wallace Steiner and sister Roxy Steiner.
