Fenton Gunn

January 1, 1930 — April 12, 2007

Fenton "Pete" Albert Gunn, 77, of Wadsworth, died Thursday, April 12 at Akron General Medical Center. He was born January 2, 1930 in Mt. Zion, West Virginia to Carr H. and Rhoda Ann (Hamrick) Gunn. He married Ada Lowe on August 16, 1953.He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Barefoot Sole after 40 years, was a member of Grace And Truth Church, American Legion, Wadsworth Hunting Club and Wadsworth Senior Center where he enjoyed shooting pool. Pete also enjoyed fishing.



Pete will be deeply missed by his wife Ada, brother Leon (Charlotte) Hosey of Doylestown, sisters Macel (Max) Rutledge of South Haven, Mississippi, Bertha (Delbert) Gainer of Big Springs, West Virginia and many nieces, nephews and friends.



Services will be Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Seville, with Pastor Rick Colelli of Grace And Truth Church and Pastor Wayne LaFollette officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 P.M. at the funeral home.
