Fred J. Mark, 80, of Wooster died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Glendora Nursing Home in Wooster.Friends may call Friday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.Services will be Saturday at 2:00pm at the funeral home.Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster where military rites will be held.

Fred was born July 28, 1930 in Shreve, Ohio to James E. and Effie (Carter) Mark.He married Evelyn Steiner on December 4, 1965.She died December 26, 2006.
He served in the Army during the Korean War.He worked at the J. M. Smucker’s Company for 38 years retiring in 1995.He was a member of the Christ United Church of Christ of Orrville and was a member of the Able Class.He enjoyed Word Searches and watching television.
Fred will be deeply missed by his children Jeanne (Dwight) Yarian of Dennison, Ray (Connie) Acomb of Oak Island, North Carolina and Beverly Sanders of Akron, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, and a special niece Kimberly Hoffman.
In additon to his wife and parents, Fred is preceded in death by brothers Harold, Milo and Marion Mark, and sisters Daryl Prosser and Dorothy Wynn .
