Gaylord Eugene Fisher, 83, of rural Ashland, died Monday morning, June 26, 2006, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
Born Nov. 17, 1922, in Ashland County, he was the son of Arthur Cloise and Marjorie Fair Fisher.
Mr. Fisher was self-employed in construction. He was a member of Grace Brethren Church.
Surviving are his wife, Violet Mae Swinehart Fisher, to whom he was married June 13, 1942; three daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Robert Heldenbrand of Hayesville, Crystal and Brian Roseborough of Lancaster, Calif. and Darlene and William Scott of Ashland; one son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Jackie Fisher of Ashland; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Delmar Fisher.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2006, at Roberts Funeral Home, 1058 US 250 North, Ashland, with Pastor Norm Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Ashland County Memorial Park.
