Geneva "Jenny" M. ?Hoyman, 81, of Wooster died Thursday, December 1, 2005 at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. ?Private graveside services will be held at a later date with Rev. Kevin Phipps officiating. ?Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. ?Per her wishes Remembrance Cremation Center will handle the cremation. ?Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel is handling the arrangements. ?Online tributes can be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com. ?Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44113 or to the Wayne County Humane Society, 1161 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691. ?She was born December 2, 1923 in Millersburg, Ohio to David and Dale (Reynolds) Hoyman.
She graduated from Millersburg High School and served in the WACs during WWII. ?She then graduated from Ashland College in 1951. ?She taught 10 years in Shelby, Ohio. ?She then moved to Cleveland and taught at Tremont Elementary School until her retirement in 1980. ?She was a member of Franklin Circle Christian Church in Cleveland. ?She enjoyed gardening, birdwatching, and loved animals.
Surviving is a niece Gay (Keith) Snyder of Big Prairie; nephew Mark (Cindy) Glasgo of Wooster; her longtime dear friend Dolores Ackerman of Wooster; 3 great-nieces, 3 great-great nieces; and her dog Rosie.
Her sister Miriam Glasgo, nephew Michael Glasgo and aunt Florence Kissel died previously.
