George Kimble

George W. Kimble, Sr. 70, of Medina, died Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Medina Hospital. He was born February 24, 1939 in Williamsport, PA to Niles and Mildred Kimble. He married Doris Cody (Larrimore) on December 3, 1991. George was employed by Helms Express -PIE for 19 years for whom he had over 2 million miles of safe driving as a Teamster truck driver. He was self-employed at Kimble Trucking and Excavating from 1991 until he retired in 2005. At the time of his death, he was Vice President of the Wadsworth Eagles, and a Masonic Lodge member since 1983 in Lewisburg, PA. George was a member of the Moose Club since 1967, a life member of Marshallville Tractor Pullers and Medina County Antique Pullers. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, motor sports and riding his ATV.

George will be deeply missed by his wife, son George (Tamara) Kimble, Jr, daughter Annmarie (Jim) Buckingham both of Seville, grandchildren Wyatt Buckingham, and Emma and Olivia Kimble. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Wadsworth, with Pastor Doug Davidson officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 at the funeral home. On line tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com .
