George W. Mosley Jr. (Meatball), 71, of Orrville, died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at his residence in Orrville.
Friends may call one-hour prior at, Wooster.Funeral services will be Wednesday December 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel with Rev. Poole officiating.Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. George was born September 15, 1940 in Elverton, West Virginia to the late George and Mary{Council} Mosley Sr. where he began his Christian walk at an early age.
George served in the U.S. Army. Upon moving to Ohio, he became a certified welder and worked at various jobs includingOrr Productsand Inger-soll Rand.
He formed a union with the late Ella (Faye) Mosley and to this union, 7 children were born.
George will be deeply missed by his 5 daughters; Mavis (Stanley) Brown of Orrville, Marie Mosley of Sharon, PA, Crystal Mosley, Nicole Mosley, and Vanessa (Bruce) Seward all of Alberta, VA; 5 sons; Josephus Mosley of Vallijo, CA, Glen Mosley, George (Tiffany) Mosley III of Youngstown, Jerry (Amey) Mosley of Sharon, PA, and Robert Mosley of Orrville; 40 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers Joseph (Norma) Mosley Sr. of Coshocton, Russell Mosley, and Darrell Mosley Sr. of Orrville; 6 sisters Helen Brown of Cleveland, Ann Pryor of Lima OH, Mamie (Eddie Sr.) Jones, Sonya Mosley of Orrville, Marilyn Hilton Sr., and Mavoureen Mosley of Wooster; a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
George was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, 1 sister, 2 brothers, and 1 brother-in-law.
