Gerald Weaver

Gerald "Jerry" Weaver, 72, of St. Paris, Ohio and formerly of Wooster died Monday, June 25, 2007, at his residence. ?Services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Overton Church of God with Pastor Randy Weaver officiating. ?Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. ?Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens where military rites will be held. ?Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is handling arrangements. ?Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com . ?He was preceded by his parents and brothers Daniel and Larry Weaver.

Jerry was born July 30, 1934, in Massillon to Harry L. and Helen (Shilling) Weaver. ?He married Norma Jean Boreman on March 3, 1957. ?He was a graduate of Fredericksburg High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1957-1959 in Germany. ?Jerry worked at Frito-Lay until his retirement in 1994 after 40 years of service. ?He enjoyed time spent with family and friends, traveling, and woodworking.

Jerry will be deeply missed by his wife, Norma; daughter, Tina and husband Wade Groetsch of Winter Haven, FL; daughter, Kathy and husband Don Magee of Hilliard, OH; and son, Brad and wife Missi Weaver of Troy OH; 7 grandchildren (Tiffany, Ryan, Nick, Lana, Kelsey, Courtney, and Mitch), 1 great-grandchild (Braden); brothers and their wives Ronnie and Carolyn Weaver of Wooster, and Terry and Donna Weaver of Fredericksburg; sister Judy Jones of Vista, CA; and sisters-in-law, Bette Weaver of Smithville, and Winnie Weaver of Fredericksburg; and nieces and nephews.
