Golda M. Franks, 101, of Wooster, died Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton. Private funeral services will be Saturday at the Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel with Rev. Paul Thombs officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Paul Thombs officiating.

Golda was born January 13, 1909 in Flint Springs, KY to Francis Marion and Sarah Frances {Daugherty} Haven. She married Francis Franks on June 1, 1927. He died in October 1983.
Golda worked at the Wooster Brush for 2 years and was a homemaker. She attended Reedsburg Church of God and enjoyed crafts and needlework. She made numerous quilts which she sold.
Golda will be deeply missed by her daughter Donna (Wayne )Schmid of Wooster, 9 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Francis, Golda was preceded in death by her son Donald M. Franks, daughter Frances M. Cox, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
