Harold Orville Puster, of Ashland passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Crystal Care Center after a 7 year battle with Alzheimer’s.
Harold was born July 30, 1939 in Ashland the son of Harold Y. Puster and Cathern (Snair) Puster.He was a life long resident of Ashland and graduated from Ashland High School in 1958.Following high school, he served in United States Army with the Army Medical Corp. 1962-1964.After his military service he was engaged in his family farming operation, later he and his brother owned their own construction company.He retired from the family farm and construction business and then retired from Home Hardware after 15 years of service.
On March 26, 1966 he married Brenda G. (Collins) Puster, who survives.Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.Surviving, in addition to his wife, his one son Shawn Harold (Michele) Puster of Polk, his daughter Jennifer (John) Weitzel of Ashland, his brother Donald (Marcia) Puster of Ashland, and his five grandchildren, Jordan, Logan, and Kameran Puster of Polk and Alexis and Alyssa Weitzel of Ashland.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Y., his mother, Cathern L and his sister, Shirley I. Wynn.
