Helen LaVonne “Bonnie” Biddle, 87 of Wooster, died Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Wooster Community Hospital after a period of declining health.
Services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating.Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster.Online tributes may be made at

Bonnie was born the youngest of four children on March 7, 1921 in Sterling to Calvin and Florence (Billheimer) Hoff.She was a 1938 graduate of Sterling High School, and later the Wooster Business College. On March 18, 1945 she married Herbert Dale Biddle. He preceded her in death on September 20, 1980.
One of the loves of her life was operating the Lattasburg General Store that she and Herb purchased in the mid sixties. She worked as a seamstress for the William Annat Co., owned and operated her own drapery business until the death of her husband, and then joined the Freedlander Co. as a seamstress until retiring in 1991.
She was an active member of the Grace Brethren Church and former First Bretheren Church of Wooster.
Spending time with family and friends was the time she most treasured. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, canning, and sewing.
She will be deeply missed by her children Gary (Tarryl) Biddle of Benson, AZ, Larry (Sarah) Biddle, Ken (Lisa) Biddle, and Karen (Louis) Amicangelo all of Wooster; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a special neice Betty (Jack) Moore of Wooster.
In addition to her husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Russell, Harold and Raymond Hoff.
