Helen Meredith Dell, 90, of Wadsworth passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Salida Woods Assisted Living in Mentor, Ohio.Memorial services will be at Trinity United Church of Christ, 215 High Street, Wadsworth, Ohio at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 14 with Rev. Daniel Doty and Rev. Jacqueline McMillan officiating. Private graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Seville, Ohio.Online tributes may be made at

Helen was born on June 5, 1921 in Preble County to Ruth {Maxwell} and Jake Meredith. She married Paul Adam Dell on December 24, 1944.They raised their family in Highland Hts., OH. and attended Hope Lutheran Church. He passed away on March 8, 2003.
Helen graduated from Capital University, Columbus, OH. with a degree in education. She was a homemaker and retired from teaching in the Mayfield, and S. Euclid- Lyndhurst School Districts in 1979. She attended Trinity United Church of Christ in Wadsworth and was a member of the Wadsworth Women’s Club and the Art and Literature Club. Helen also enjoyed gardening and international travel. And she volunteered and led nature tours at the Holden Arboretum.
Helen will be deeply missed by her children Stephen (Bonnie) Dell of Lancaster, PA, Peter (Nancy) Dell of Mentor, OH, and Sallie (Brian) Fahey of West LaFayette, IN; and grandchildren Brian Dell of Mechanicsburg, PA, Mark (Alaine) Dell of Charlotte NC, Sonya (Kevin) Meeks of Mentor, OH, and Denver Dell of Euclid, OH; great-grandchildren Bryan Dell and Xander Meeks.
