Ila J. Brenneman, 75, of Wooster, died Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Smithville Western Care Center.Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.Memorial services will be Tuesday at 12 pm at the Grace Brethren Church with Pastors George Johnson and George Peters officiating.Burial will be at East Union Cemetery.

Ila was born September 29, 1933, in Massillon to Dr. Roy and Zelma (Eberly) Heiser.
She attended Rittman High School. She married John Brenneman on November 12, 1953.
She worked for Wooster Community Hospital as a volunteer and then as a nurse’s aide.She then worked in the office at Grace Brethren Church for 17 years.Ila was a member of Grace Brethren Church, where she sang in the choir for over 25 years and was a member of W.M.C.
Ila will be deeply missed by her husband; her son Greg (Beth) Brenneman of Wooster;grandchildren Stephanie and Daniel Brenneman of Wooster; brother Paul (Karol) Lapp of Jeromesville; sisters Betty (Leonard) Huffman of Seville, Carol Lapp of Rittman, Charlene (Bill) Schweinberg of Warner Robbins, GA.
Ila was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Edwin Lapp.
