Imogene Mae Cadmus, 81, of Wooster died Monday, June 23, 2008 at Horn’s Nursing Center after a period of declining health. Services will be Thursday June 26, 2008 at 11:00am at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Bill Eshelman officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at

Imogene was born October 18, 1926 in Wooster to the late Paul and Annabelle (Benepe) Mowrer. She married Charles F. Cadmus on November 2, 1946. He died June 26, 1998.
She was a homemaker and wife. Her greatest love was her daughters and grandchildren, to whom she passed along her love of flowers and gardening.
She will be deeply missed by her daughters Barbara Swisher, Rebecca (Steve) Steiner of Texas, Dorothy (Curt) Wintersteen and Donna (Kim) Fahrni, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and a step-sister Roberta Mowrer Sprang of Big Prairie.
She was preceded in death by her step-brother Wilbur Mowrer.
