James ?Jim? S. Barnes, 75, of 334 Seville Road, Seville died Friday, December 22, 2006 at Barberton Citizens Hospital. Services will be Wednesday, December 27 at 1:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home Hillcrest Chapel in Wadsworth with Pastor Michael Decker officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. James was born May 11, 1931 in Ivydale West Virginia to Thomas V. and Belva M. (Chapman) Barnes. He married Norma Gray on September 21, 2003. She survives. He served in the Army in Germany during the Korean Conflict. And had been an employee of General Motors, Milford Proving Ground and Debolt in Canton. He attended Ambassador Baptist Church and was a member of the Sunlight Lodge #600 where he served as a past master. He was also a member of Commers Lodge.
In addition to his wife Norma, he is survived by an extended family. Dear friend Paul Friend and his parents preceded him in death.
