James D. Chandler, 71, of Ashland, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at his residence.
James was born January 1, 1937 in Orange Township the son of Arthur and Flossie Belle (Shank) Chandler. ?He retired from Garber in Ashland after 34 years of service. ?James was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
James will be deeply missed by his sister Goldie Fry of Greenwich. ?He is preceded in death by brothers Clyde Chandler and Eugene Chandler.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home - Ashland Chapel, 1058 US 250 W, Ashland, with Rev. John Bouquet officiating. ?Friends may call 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
