James (Mike) Hendrix, 54, of Big Prairie passed away ?Monday November 20, 2006 at his residence.
Services will be Friday at 1:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel with Rev. Paul Mullet officiating. ?Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Wednesday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home. ?Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com. ?

He was born October 25, 1952 in Wooster to Jim and Dorothy (Durham) Hendrix and married Bonnie Marks on September 17, 1994. ?She survives.
He graduated from Waynedale High School and the Wayne County Career Center in 1971. ?He worked at Pam & Bills and for years delivered the Wooster Daily Record on a motor route. ?He enjoyed camping and hiking. ?He also enjoyed family, friends, movies and music. ?He also enjoyed his cats, especially "Bubby".
He will be deeply missed by his wife, children Angela and Ryan Hendrix of Shreve, his mother Dorothy Hendrix of Apple Creek, sisters Jean (Stub) Hastings of Ashland, Judy (Berny) Harter, Susan (John) Barker all of Apple Creek and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother-in-law Donald Marks and mother and father-in-law Donald and Thelma Marks.
