James III

James Ramsey Harkness, III, 17 of Seville passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011 at his residence in Seville. He was born June 6, 1993 in Barberton to James and Denise (Burkett) Harkness. James was home schooled and in the Explorer program at Grafton Village Police Department, where he learned the duties of an officer. James was employed part time and a member of the Boy Scouts in Grafton. He enjoyed fishing, playing video games, collecting knives and rocks, shooting at the range and playing with his nieces and nephews.



James will be deeply missed by his parents, brothers Jason Harkness of Wadsworth, Jeffrey Harkness of Rittman, sisters Nicole Harkness of Rittman, Cassandra Uridales of Akron, Alisha Harkness of Akron, nieces Brittney. Alonna, Aryianna, and nephews Brenden and Mitchell. He was preceded by his grandfather James Harkness, Sr., nephews Connor and Michael , one infant niece and one infant nephew.



Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 AM at Life Tabernacle Church in Rittman with Pastor Nichols officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 PM at the church.
