James A. “Jim”Miller, 75, of Wooster died Thursday, May 21, 2009 at his residence. Memorial services will be Tuesday at 3:00pm at the Church of the Cross United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim was born September 27, 1933 in Beach City to Kermit and Thelma (Sliffe) Miller.He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.He married Dorothy Ritchey on March 6, 1965.Jim worked for Rubbermaid for 24 years retiring in 1989.He was a member of the Church of the Cross United Methodist Church and was a Charter Member of the Wayneaires Barbershop Chorus, a Boy Scout Master in Beach City, and served as a volunteer fireman in Beach City.He enjoyed singing and playing bingo.
Jim will be deeply missed by his wife Dot, a daughter Edna (Reese) Kidwell of Kansas, a brother Don (Helen) Miller of North Canton and a sister Doris Thompson of Berlin.
Jim was preceded in death by his son Brian Allen Miller and his parents.
