He was born October 20, 1928 in Drumright, Oklahoma to Ralph B. and Nannie (Hundlay) Vicars. ?He married Lucy Miller on June 5, 1949. ?She survives.
He worked for Rubbermaid for 32 years, retiring in 1988. ?
He was a member of the Moreland Methodist Church and enjoyed golfing, fishing and being with his grandchildren. ?He wintered in Arizona where he enjoyed helping his many friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children Timothy (Janeth) Vicars of Munroe Falls and Peggy Nichols and fianc? Tom Davis of Glendale, Arizona, grandchildren Amanda and Bethany Vicars, and Kristen and Matthew Nichols, brothers Russell L. (Pat) Vicars of Shreve and Ronald V. (Pat) Vicars of Orrville.
His sister Patricia Manson died previously.
He touched everyone who knew him and was always willing to lend a helping hand. ?He will be deeply missed; however his memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who love him.
