James C. Whitmer, 69, of Wooster, died Monday, May 03, 2010 at his residence in Wooster.Services will be held at a later date.Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is handling the arrangements.

Jim was born August 24, 1940 in Bremen, Kentucky to Jacob and Beulah Mae (Felkerson) Whitmer.
He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.Many years ago Jim owned Whitmer Meats, in addition to Tri State Trucking, Inc. Most recently he owned Raintree Cab / Transportation, LLC and was a member of the Eagles.He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing pool.
Jim will be deeply missed by his daughter Susi (Thomas) Thomas-Albiez of Wooster, son Donald Dukes, granddaughter Jessica L. Albiez , grandson Brandon Dukes, great-grandson Jasper Alexander Albiez, half-brother Robert Huffman of North Carolina; and his Raintree family.
