Jay Sevenstar, aka Jerry M. Schmucker, 64, of Smithville, died February 15, 2011, at the Cleveland Clinic.Jay was born on July 3
rd
, 1946, to Vernon and Verna {Steiner} Schmucker at the Beeson Hospital in Wooster, Ohio.After his graduation from Smithville High School, Jay joined the U.S. Air Force where he served in England.
Jay leaves behind a sister and brother-in-law Janice and Orden Amstutz.He is also survived by two nephews, Robert Austin and David Amstutz, and a niece Kathy Maurer.
Per Jay’s wishes, cremation is going to take place, anda service will be held at a later date.
Jay’s family wishes to send a special thank you to Chief Caskey, Al Vondriska and the Larry Stutzman family, as well as all those unnamed people who were special friends to Jay.God bless you all.
