Former Ashland resident Jeanne K. Fowler, 58, of Bradenton, Fla., died May 22, 2006, at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, Fla.
She was born July 12, 1947, in Wadsworth, and moved to Bradenton in 2000 from Ashland.
She was a factory worker at Abbott Laboratories in Ashland for many years. She was a member of the AMVETS ?Auxiliary, Eagles Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and Women of the Moose.
Survivors include her companion of 28 years, Thomas Leasure of Bradenton, Fla.; her mother, Dorothy Naylor of Ashland; daughters, Lisa Sommers and husband Robert Sommers of Perrysville, Diane Sprinkle and husband Mike Sprinkle of West Salem and Nicole Steele of Ashland; son, Dan Fowler and his wife Cassandra Fowler of Nankin.
She has nine grandchildren, Joshua Sommers, Julie Sommers, Stephanie Yuncker, Mitchell Yuncker, Alyssa Plew, Jennifer Fowler, Erica Workman, Kristen Workman and Isaac Fowler; and one great-granddaughter, Alexis Lauer.
She also has two sisters, Sandra Burke of West Salem and Sally Gess of Nankin and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2006, at Roberts Funeral Home, 1058 US 250 North, Ashland. Pastor Howdy Burnette will speak the last half hour of the service.
