Janos was born in
Hungary
,
October 8, 1931
and was the son of the late Steven and Lydia Biro. He came to the
United States
in 1957 and settled in
Wadsworth
, in 1970. A devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, Apja enjoyed working outdoors. He provided for his family by being self employed thru his landscaping and nursery business. Several years he and his family ran a flower shop and greenhouse - in Copley. He continued to be employed, even though he should have taken the time to enjoy his golden years. He enjoyed the yearly beautification of
Lorantffy
Care
Center
, in Copley - where he had excellent care in his prior rehabilitation visits - Kudos to all.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Ilona) in 2001 and is survived by son, Robert of Wadsworth; daughter Susan (William) Blaydes of Akron; daughter Cynthia (John Mahusky); grandchildren, Geoffrey Blaydes of
Houma, LA, Krystal Blaydes of Columbus and Erik Blaydes of Akron. He leaves nephews, nieces, cousins - in the
Akron
and surrounding areas and family in
Hungary
. Also, special friend Mary and her family. Thanks to the staff at AGMC - ICU, for their special care of our Apja and Nagypapa.
Funeral services will be Sunday, November 1, at 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, 9560 Acme Road, Seville, OH 44273. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Burial will be Monday, November 2 at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lorantffy Care Center or to one's choice of charity.
