John Robert Ellsperman, 80, of Wooster died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at his residence.
Friends may call Friday from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:00a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church
with Father Steve Moran officiating.

John was born August 2, 1930 in Wooster to John Francis and Ruth Levina (Starr) Ellsperman.
He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.
He married Clarice Woods on November 24, 1955.
She survives.
John worked at Rex Roth 39 years before retiring in 1992.
He was a life member of St. Mary’s Church in Wooster.
He belonged to the Gnat Boxer Square Dance Club.
John loved woodworking, hunting, and traveling to see his children and grandchildren.
John will be deeply missed by his wife Clarice and children Terri (Mike) Reutter of Lakeville, Mary Lynn (Donnie) Thomas of Edmond, Oklahoma, Mark (Helen) Ellsperman of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Kevin (Maria) Ellsperman of Topeka, Kansas, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a sister Sr. Frances Ellsperman of Tempe, Arizona.
