Julius Juhas, 93, of Ashland, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2008, at Samaritan Hospital in Ashland. Julius was born January 3, 1915, in Akron, the son of John and Julia (Lucas) Juhas.On November 29, 1941, he married Gizella Krchnavy who preceded him in death in 2006.DuringWWII, Julius served
in the US Army Airbourne in the European Theater.
He was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Ashland.He retiredin 1980 from Thermo-Disc in Mansfield.Julius was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting.
He will be deeply missed by his daughters Carol Clayton, Lois Cashell both of Naples, FL, Paulette (David) McBride of Jeromesville, son Joe (Theresa) Juhas of Prospect, seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren, sisters Irene Mann, Margaret Brustoski, Julie Phelps.
He is preceded in death by brothers Joe Labady, Dave Labady, John, Lewis, Bill, Pete, Elmer Juhas.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 22, at 10:00 a.m. at Ashland County Memorial Park.Friends may call on Sunday, September 21 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, 1058 US 250 W., Ashland.
