Kathryn E. Piatt, 88, of Ashland, died Thursday March 24, 2011 at Hospice of North Central Ohio.
She was born February 8, 1923 in Summit, Ohio to Adolph S. and Emma J. (Barker) Morris.
Kathryn married Charles R. Piatt on August 13, 1946.
She retired from Eagle Rubber/Hedstrom in 1993.She loved to play bingo, travel and she loved her grandkids.She was a women’s auxiliary member of the VFW and Amvets.
Kathryn will be deeply missed by her son Donald (Angela) Piatt of Ashland, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, her sister, Nettie Brown of Woodsfield, Oh and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, daughter Genevie Hossman and grandson David Hossman, sisters; Edna Huntsman, Estelle Shuck, Nellie Motz, Veste Morris, Bertha Longden andbrothers Clarence and Russell Morris.
Services will be at a later date.Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.Online tributes may be made at
