Lana Jean Rawlings, 69, of Akron passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Akron City Hospital. She was born March 6, 1942 in Wadsworth to Elton and Dorothy (Nixon) Snurr. Lana married John W. Rawlings on February 28, 1962. She loved Elvis, George Jones, crocheting and crafts.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Friends
may call Tuesday from 6:00
to 7:00 p.m.
at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Lana will be deeply missed by son Tim Rawlings, of Copley, daughter Donna (John) Gutherie of Akron, grandchildren Timmy Lee, Amanda, Matthew, Justin, Michael and Tyler, and brother Melvin Snurr. Husband, John Rawlings, son, Donald Rawllings and brother, Gerald Snurr proceded her in death.
