Linda E. She was born November 9, 1943 in Pittgas, Pennsylvania to Roy and Ruth (Fulmer) Emerson. ?She married S. Lee Gillentine on December 19, 1988. ?He preceded her in death in 2000.
Linda graduated from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, Pennsylvania, Asbury University, attended seminary in Washington, D.C., and earned her Master's from Ashland University. ?She retired as an elementary school teacher from Wooster after more than 30 years of service. ?Linda was an active member of the Wooster First Church of God, including singing in the choir and helping with vacation Bible School. ?She was a member of Carpe Divas and Divas to Go of the Red Hat Society. ?She was also active in the Wayne County Retired Teachers, Ohio Reads and the Wayne County Relay for Life.
Surviving are children Jennifer Todd of North Carolina and Jasmine Gillentine of Wooster, grandchildren Jensen and Jordan Todd, her mother of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania and a brother Mark (Robin) Emerson of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania and a host of close friends.
In addition to her husband, her father, and a brother Dennis Emerson died previously.
