Lula E. Mayfield, 70, of Wooster died Saturday, March 10, 2007 at her residence following a long battle with cancer. ?Services will be Wednesday at 3 pm at the Roberts Funeral Home - Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor James Price officiating. ?

Lula was born September 28, 1936 in Crystal, WV to Robert and Beulah {Brown} O'Donnell. ?She married Harley P. Mayfield on March 29, 1958. ?She then married Douglas Ray Robertson. ?Lula was a homemaker, enjoyed going to church, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her children Richard Mayfield of Wooster, Gail (Drew) Shifferly of Wooster, Arnold Mayfield of New Castle, DE, Doug E. Robertson of Wooster and Tammy Robertson of Rittman; 9 grandchildren; brothers Lawrence (Eloise) O'Donnell and James "Bud" (Marie) O'Donnell all of WV; sisters Lucy Hodges of West Virginia, Sally Penland and Norma Zonar both of New Castle, DE. ?Her husbands precede her in death.
Lula?s family would like to give a special thank you to Greg Zonar, Nick Locicero, Robyn Mellott, David Medlen, Lucy ?Hodge, Deb Lewis, and Marie O'Donnell for spending time with their mother during her illness.
