Lydia Bartel, 84, of Wooster, died Monday, April 9, 2012 at Orrville Pointe.
Private services will be Saturday at 11 am at the Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Rev. Rufus Thompson officiating.
Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Lydia was born June 28, 1927 to Siegfried and Lydia {Konopatzki} Tiede.
She married Ewald Bartel on July 25, 1943.
He died April 17, 2006.
They immigrated to the US from Germany in 1949.
Lydia retired from Norton Corp. in Orrville in 1985.
She enjoyed sewing and gardening.
Lydia will be deeply missed by her children Erwin (Linda) Bartel of Dalton and Nely (Larry) Harris of Wooster, 4 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sister Selma Albrecht of Medina; nieces and nephews.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. Reynolds, Dr. Lindsay, Dr. Lance, and Dr. Bayand all of her special care givers for their loving care.
