Mabel A. Kiener, 68 of Loudonville died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Glendora Health Care Center in Wooster. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00am at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Mabel was born on October 21, 1941 to William E. and Hazel M. (Hushour) Gordon. She married Donavan Kiener on September 12, 1980. He died March 20, 1999.
She was employed at the Thompson Paper Company and worked at the Goodwill in Loudonville. She had previously owned the Kiener Variety Store in Apple Creek.
She was a member of the First Alliance Church and enjoyed doing needlework. She loved putting puzzles together and baking cookies. She had a green thumb.
Mabel will be deeply missed by several nieces and nephew especially her nieces Sandy (Richard) Knight and Penny Wilson both of Wooster.
In addition to her husband Donavan, her sisters Betty Fowler, Marge McClelland, Phyllis Werntz, Daisy Smith, Faye Boreman and Reva Fluhart and Brothers Charles, Donald and Bill Gordon precede Mabel in death.
