Margene M. House, 87, of Wooster, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at
Smithville Western Care Center in Wooster.
Memorial
services will be Friday at 10:00am
at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with Rev. Larry Black officiating.

Margene was born March 4, 1922 in Wooster, Ohio to Forest and Helen (Bricker) Moore.
She graduated from Wooster High School in 1940 and Kent State University in the Home Economics School.
After school she worked for the Army Map Service in Washington, D.C. as her contribution to the war effort.
She married Charles L. House on May 23, 1954.
He died in 2003.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wooster, where she was active in the Women’s Circle.
She was the Program Assistant for the Wayne County Extension Service in 4-H organization and promotion.
For many summers, Margene and her family ran a roadside fruit and vegetable stand.
She was active in Bridge Club and Garden Club.
She loved the OSU Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians.
Margene will be missed deeply by children Lee House of Wooster, Ron (Trina Marshall) House of Columbus, Kim Novak of Erie, PA and Douglas (Kitty) House of Wooster, grandchildren Nicholas and Seneca Novak, Dylan and Devon and Eva House and great-grandson Caleb, brother William (Annabelle) Moore of Wooster and sister Florence (Tom) Carey of Houston, Texas, many nieces, nephews and their children.
