Marilyn Jean Arwood, 69, of Shreve died Friday, February 10, 2006 at her residence.
Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. ?Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. ?Friends may call Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. ?

She was born July 3, 1936 in Monroe Twp., Holmes Co., to Lawrence and Lena (Harris) Wachtel. ?She married Russell E. Arwood on October 14, 1955. ?He survives.
She graduated from Shreve High School in 1954. ?She was manager of the Shreve Branch of the Wayne Co. Public Library, retiring in 2001 after 32 years of service. ?She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons Kim (Gay) Arwood of Shreve and Kent Arwood of Panama City, Florida; grandchildren Andrea Arwood Harris, and Kaitlin and Hannah Arwood; great-grandchildren Amber and Lauren Harris; brothers Gary (Jane) Wachtel of West Salem, Mark (Sherry) Wachtel of Rittman, Mike (Ellen) Wachtel of Shreve, and Greg (Wynette) Wachtel of Reedsburg; sister Mary Jane Wachtel of Shreve; special friend Nancy Fortune of Shreve; and her friends from the bridge club.
A brother Roger Wachtel died previously.
