Marilyn A. Stiffler, 70, of Apple Creek, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Smithville Western Care Center. Marilyn was born March 8, 1938 in New Philadelphia to William E. and Alice Mae (Green) Wolf.She married Robert Stiffler on June 1, 1957.
She was a long time employee of J. C. Penney’s in New Philadelphia and Wooster, then for Classic Tux.She was a member of the Church of the Cross United Methodist Churchwhere she sung in the choir and was involved in the Bonnie Circle. She also enjoyed collecting recipes.
Marilyn will be deeply missed by her husband and children Kenneth (Stephanie) Stiffler of Wooster, Dan Stiffler of Fredericksburg and Kevin (Angie) Stiffler of Wooster, grandchildren Kristin, Erin and Michael Stiffler, sister Virginia (Jack) Ballentine and a twin sister Margaret Beans all of New Philadelphia.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and brothers William and Dwight Wolf.
