Marjorie Dawson

Marjorie A. Dawson, 81, of Wooster, died Thursday April 26, 2012 at Glendora Health Care Center, in Wooster.

Friends may call Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Gerald Compton officiating. Marge was born January 24, 1931 in Fredericksburg to Charles Edward and Emma Faye {Haines} Duncan.

Marge married Richard Fortune in October 1949. He died in 1970. She then married Norval Dawson on November 23, 1979. He died in 2006.

Marge worked for Regal Ware and Redhead Brass. She was a member of the Wooster Apostolic Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed camping at Prairie Lane and playing cards her family and friends.

Marge will be deeply missed by children Rick (Linda) Fortune of Mayer, AZ, Karen Wharton of Apple Creek, and Connie (Rob) Aduddell of Wooster, Deb (Allen) Hoxworth of Millersburg Rusty (Connie) Dawson of Killbuck; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Harold, Earl Duncan both of Wooster, Carl Duncan of Orrville, Kenny Duncan of Fredericksburg; sister Carol Haven of Orrville.
