Marjorie G. Fry Ewing, 77, formerly of Damascus, VA died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the Apostolic Christian Home in Rittman. Funeral services will be Monday at 11am at the Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, with Pastor John Castle and Pastor Ezra Canyorofficiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Marjorie was born February 19, 1933 in Mountain City, TN to Danie H. and Anna Mae {Gibson} Fenner. She moved to Apple Creek at 17 and married Donald Fry on March 2, 1952. He died December 8, 1963.
Marjorie worked for Goodwill Industries in Wooster, Sayres IGA in Smithville, and for Food City in Abington, VA. She attended the Rittman Community Church and was a member of the Senior Citizen’s Club of Damascus and the Damascus Volunteer Reserve Auxillary. Marjorie enjoyed her bowling leagues, reading, playing bingo, and spent many hours with her art.
Marjorie will be deeply missed by her children; Donald (Cindy) Fry of Smithville, Judy (Jeff) Vincent of Wooster, Jerry (Donna) Fry of Medina, Cindy (Chip) Pavis of Lusby, MD, grandchildren; Brian, Kerri, Cortney, Hilary, Jeremy, Kyle, Kurt, Chad, Stephanie, Jay, Jordan, Amanda, April, Jenny, Josh, Jake, Brittany, Kirsten, and Joey; 11 great- grandchildren; sisters Lucille Corum, Joanne Anderson, Judy Secrest, Jean Kasserman, Betty Gentry, and Sandra Lynn Lethcoe.
