Mary Laverne Dunkle, 88, of Wadsworth, passed away Friday, December 31, 2010 at her residence. She was born October 10, 1922 in Louisville, KY. to Joseph and Mary (Huffman) Flesch. She married Harry H. Dunkle in 1942. He passed away in 1991. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mary will be deeply missed by her children Harry Dunkle, Stella Bender both of Akron, Jeanne (Jim) Connover of Wadsworth, Gerald Dunkie of Akron, Donnie Dunkle of Wadsworth, Barb (Danny) McCutcheon of Akron, 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry and son-in-law Carmel Bender in 2009. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 12:00 pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens following the service. Friends may call Tuesday from 10-12 pm at the funeral home.
