Mary Sears

Mary Louise (Napolitano) Sears, 87, of Wadsworth, went to be with our Lord with her family surrounding her on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Hospice of Medina County in Medina. She was born on August 25, 1923 in Barberton, Ohio to Attilo and Theresa (Emma) Napolitano. She married Dorsey Sears on October 28, 1950. Mary worked on aircraft during WWII as a Rosie the Riveter. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and devoted to her religion. Mary was a member of Wadsworth Moose #1681, and the Wadsworth Eagles Women’s Auxiliary #2117. Mary enjoyed traveling with her husband and Moose Auxiliary. She loved her family and taking care of her grandchildren.



Mary will be deeply missed by her husband, Dorsey, daughters Wanda (Clyde) Simon of Wadsworth and Linda (John) Lang of Norton, grandchildren Greg Simon and Michelle Simon, both of Wadsworth, great-grandchildren Ane, Rayghen and Joseph, a sister Sally (Carl) Schwab of Rittman, and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents and her brothers Frank and Sam and sister Mildred Polley preceded Mary in death. We would like to say a special thanks to the staff at Hospice of Medina.



Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 260 Broad Street, Wadsworth, OH., 44281 with Father Joseph Labak officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In leiu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Roberts Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com .
