Mary Selbee

Mary Francis Wellman Brickey Selbee, 82, of Wadsworth, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Hospice of Medina County. She was born January 10, 1929 in Fort Gay, West Virginia to Clarence Thomas and Vangie Hazel (Thompson) Wellman. She married Boyd Selbee on October 2, 1982. Mary was an Ohio Match company emploee for 15 years, retiring in 1982 and enjoyed traveling and the computer.


Mary will be deeply missed by children; Arthur Brickey, Jr. of Wadsworth,Terry Brickey of Rittman, Ken (Evna) Selbee of Akron, Rusty Culp and Gina (Mike) Place both of Nashville, TN., Colleen (Pat) Tanney of Wooster, Al (Mertie) Selbee of Ozark, MO., granddaughter LeAnn (Steve) Katanic and great-grandchildren Isabella, Ben and Blake Katanic, ten other grandchildren, twelve other great- grandchildren, sister Annabelle Thompson of Wadsworth, brothers Frank (Jo Ellen) Wellman of Pritchard, W. VA., and Robert Wellman of Louisa, KY., and many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded on death by two husbands Arthur Brickey, Sr. and Boyd Selbee, two brothers Charles and Thomas Wellman, a sister-in-law Oma Wellman and brother-in-law Ralph Thompson.


Friends may call Saturday from 12-1 PM at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Seville, Ohio. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 1PM at the funeral home with Paul Martin officiating.
