Mary Elizabeth Staley, 70, of Middleburg Hts, died Tuesday, December 18, at Westlake Health Care Center in Westlake. She was born October 16, 1937 in Lake Village, AK to Robert Lee and Susie Elizabeth (Bond) Blackwell. She married John H. Staley on May 29, 1956 and he survives. Mary retired from Westview Lumber in Olmsted Falls in 2000 after 22 years of service. She loved shopping and her grandchild.
Mary is survived by sons Randy Staley of Middleburg Hts. and Richard L. Staley of Lakewood, one grandchild, Michael A. Staley of Akron, daughter in law, Bertha Staley of Akron, nieces Susan Rice and Diana Komar and a nephew Jim Kelley. In addition to parents, a son Michael A. Staley and a sister Margaret A. Kelley preceded her.
Graveside services will be Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 2:30 P.M. at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick with Pastor David Butler officiating. Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Wadsworth assisted the family with arrangements. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com.
