Mary Tauber

Mary Jane Tauber, 69, of Wadsworth, passed away Wednesday, August 10, at Emeritus of Medina Hospice in Medina after a long battle with cancer. She was born April 16, 1941 in McKeesport, PA to John and Marybelle (Little) Schmidt. She was married to James Tauber. Mary Jane attended Ridgewood Baptist Church, where she played the piano, was a member of McKeesport Alliance Church and enjoyed flower gardening and her family.

Mary Jane will be deeply missed by her husband James, children Betty Lou (Matthew) Fister of Wadsworth, J. Daniel Tauber of Elizabeth, PA, Julie Ann (Scott) Peto of Wellington, OH, grandchildren Molly, Levi, Christopher, brothers William Schmidt of Butler, PA, Rev. Carl (Janet) Schmidt of Tyrone, PA, and sister Colleen Morgan of McKeesport, PA. Her brother Rev. David Schmidt preceded Mary Jane in death.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 16 at 2:00 pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel with Pastors Ernie Bergan and Charles Whitlock officiating.
