Melanie Ann Carroll, daughter of Christina Borden, was born September 1, 2001. She passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. Friends may call Thursday from 12pm to 2 pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2pm at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Melanie loved crafts, working on the computer, video games and playing with her sister. She also enjoyed cooking, watching the food Network, playing dress up, and playing with her dog Oscar. She attended Cornerstone Elementary.
Surviving in addition to mother Christina and Stepfather Jason are maternal grandparents Richard Borden and Glenna Gordon; paternal grandparents Nancy and George Carroll; maternal great-grandparents Richard W. Borden and Betty Jackson; sisters Haley and Carli; brother Ryan; stepbrothers Alex and Jason II Coleman, and her dog Oscar.
Melanie was preceded in death by her father Mark Carroll.
