Miriam L. Roberts, 82, of Ashland, died Saturday, May 5, 2007 at The Good Shepherd Home in Ashland.
She was born December 6, 1924, in Perrysville, the daughter of Charles D. Landis and Mildred (Echelberger) Landis who preceded her in death.
She married Harold (Bud) Roberts in October of 1960 who survives.
Miriam retired from Lake Worth Florida Middle School in 1986 after 18 years of service. ?She also worked for National Latex. ?She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Florida for over 20 years. Later while living in Ashland, she attended Christ United Methodist Church. ?Miriam was an bowler, loved working out, and enjoyed reading the Bible. ?
Miriam will be deeply missed by her husband Bud, her son Richard & Mary Ann Roberts of Chicago, Illinois, and daughter Phyllis & Bryan Snellenberger of Lantana, Florida, brother Ted & Lucille Landis of Ashland, sister-in-laws Dorothy Landis of Hayesville and Donna Landis of Ashland.
Along with her parents, Miriam was preceded in death by her brothers Don Landis and Merle Landis.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 10, at Roberts Funeral Home in Ashland at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Julie Thoms officiating. ?Entombment will be held at Ashland Co. Memorial Park following the service. ?There will be no calling hours.
The family requests that contributions be made to The Good Shepherd Home and Hospice of North Central Ohio. ?
