Nadine L. Steagall, 84, of Mansfield passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009 at her residence. Nadine was born May 17, 1925 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to Oscar and Wanda (Keiser) Salyers. Nadine Married Nelson Leon Steagall on May 28, 1945.
Nadine cleaned for the Ramada Inn and Mansfield Hospital and was a homemaker. Nadine was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Mansfield. She was a collector of Baby dolls and enjoyed spending time in her garden and loved flowers.
Nadine will be deeply missed by her husband Nelson and her children, Wayne Steagall of Mansfield and Joanne (Wayne) Oney of Ontario, her grandchildren Kenny and Alan Steagall, Wendell Moser, Shawn Carroll, and seven great grand children. Her sisters Phyllis Bryant of Ashland, Millie Rayburn, May Tackett , Emma Jean of Kentucky. Nadine was preceded in death by her sons Steve and Roy Steagall and four brothers. Funeral services will be Saturday October 24, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel with Rev. Earl Tackett officiating. Friends may call one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park following the service.
