Nancy Thompson

Nancy Thompson, 74, of Wooster, died Friday, February 24, 2012 at her residence.



Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 am at the funeral home with Pastor Dean Hammond officiating. Nancy was born March 3, 1937 in Damascus, VA to George and Alice {McCloud} Campbell. She married James W. Thompson on June 21, 1952.



She worked for Rubbermaid and owned and operated Pisces Aquarium for 10 years. She enjoyed shopping and selling Avon.



Nancy will be deeply missed by her children James M. (Lisa A.) Thompson, Alan (Jenny)Thompson, Jeffrey W. (Kimberly F. Dildine) Thompson all of Wooster, Michael J. Thompson of Killbuck; grandchildren Andrea L. Thompson, James W. Thompson, Wendy L, Charlotte R., Sharonna M. Schmucker; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers Sam (Janice) Campbell, Donny Campbell; sisters Doris Houser, Peggy Dyer, Pat (Ben) Kauffman.



Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son Fred Thompson, brothers Tom and Bill Campbell, and a sister Francis Dawson.
