Naomi R. Miley, 95, of Wooster, died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at West View Manor, in Wooster.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11A.M. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Jack McClelland officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Naomi was born August 10, 1915 in Wayne County, to Fred and Marie {Ross} Greegor.
She graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1932. She married the love of her life George Miley on April 22, 1939, after 65 years together he passed away May 18, 2004. Naomi was the owner of Naomi’s Beauty Shop in Fredericksburg for 22 years.She was a member of the Fredericksburg Presbyterian Church, where she served as an Elder and was on the women’s task force. Naomi was a seamstress she would make clothes for herself and son Ed. She would once a month would go out to eat with her nieces and nephews and spend hours with them.
Naomi will be deeply missed by her son Edward L. (Karen) of Boulder, Colorado, grandchildren; JoEllen (Chris) Koch, Brent (Sylvia) Miley, Jill Miley, Emily Miley, great-grandchildren; Nathan, Trent and Mitchell Koch, Tasman and Zane Miley, sister Frieda Chenevey of Apple Creek. Numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ernestine Woodruff and special friend Henrietta Rice.
