Nina Kathrine Mendenhall, 99, of Ashland, died Sunday, July 15, 2007 at The Good Shepherd Home in Ashland. ?She was a resident of Ashland County most of her life.
Nina was born March 27, 1908 in Monroe County to James and Anna (Lallathin) Rinard. ?She married Harold J. Mendenhall on February 26, 1926. ?Harold preceded her in death in 1992.
Nina was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church. ?She enjoyed gardening and traveling with friends and family throughout the United States.
Nina will be deeply missed by her three daughters Doris (Norm) Chesrown of Dublin, Ohio, ?Sue (Larry) Hendersen of Gettysburg, Penn., and Ann (Ken) Behrendsen of Ashland, nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and five great great-grandchildren, and her sister Wilma Ridgeway of Rittman.
Nina was preceded by death by her parents, husband, two sisters, and three brothers.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home -- Ashland Chapel, 1058 US Route 250, Ashland. Pastor Julie Thoms will be officiating. ?Burial will be at Ashland Co. Memorial Park following the service. ?Friends may call one hour before the funeral service.
