Noble T. Kay JR., 78, of Belle Glade Florida, went to be with his Lord March 19, 2012 at Consulate Health Care of West Palm Beach, in Florida.
Friends may call Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at The 2nd Baptist Church 245 Grant St. Wooster.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Reverend Lawrence G. Hedgepeth officiating and Reverend Lee Anderson assisting. Burial will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Wednesday 28

at 9:30a.m, where military rites will be held.

Noble was born December 31, 1933 in Guthrie, Kentucky to Noble SR. and Katheryn {Taylor} Kay.
Noble graduated from Orrville High School. He was in the US Army and served in the Korean War from 1954 to 1957.
Noble worked at Frito Lay as a factory worker and also worked in the food service industry. He worked as a childcare worker at Boys Village for several years.
He founded Rainbows Children’s Trust near Mt. Eaton, Ohio. He spent most of his life helping under privileged children. He was a member of the 2
nd
Baptist Church of Wooster in his earlier years. Noble enjoyed weight lifting and was an avid speed walker. He was a devoted street preacher.
Noble will be deeply missed by his sons Quincy, Noble (Patty) Kay III and Barbara Merriweather of Wooster; step-children Melissa (Tom) Brenner of Wooster, Oliver Kay, John Napier, Andre Kay, Eugene Kay of Lima and Anniemae Kay of Wooster; 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brother Leon Smith of Mansfield; sisters Claudett Kay of California Rosie Jones of Florida ; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Noble was preceded in death by his parents his brother Bobby Smith, sisters Velma Harris and Jeanetta Kay, and wife Mary Kay.
