Norma J. Dickinson, 70, life time resident of Ashland, died January 26, 2007, at her home. ?She was born May 30, 1936 in Ashland, the daughter of Milo Delphos Thompson and Lucille Gertrude (Cleckner) Thompson. ?Norma was a homemaker, a member of the Ashland Church of the Nazarene, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. ?She loved to bowl and participated in many area leagues and was an avid collector of country music. ?Norma is survived by her husband Glenn E. Dickson. ?They married on December 31, 1971. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by children Gregg Thompson of Galion, Melodie (Bobby) Boals of Ashland, Glenn (Mary) Dickinson of Ashland, Kim (Steve) Sloan of Ashland, Pam Arrington of Perrysville, Jodi (Scott) Clark of Jeromesville, and Chad (Judy) Dickinson of Ashland. ?She has 28 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. ?Norma is survived by her sisters Carol Icenhour and Patsy Briggs of Ashland, and Lawana (Bill) Roberts of Worthville, Kentucky; brothers Laurence Thompson, Duane Thompson, Gaylord Thompson, and Lamont Thompson all of Ashland. ?In addition to her father, Norma is preceded in death by her brother Milo O. Thompson of Columbus. ?Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 29 at Roberts Funeral Home in Ashland at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. William Schaefer officiating. ?Burial will be held at Ashland County Memorial Park following the service. ?Friends may call on Monday starting at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. ?The family requests that contributions be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio.
